Der optisch gekoppelte Isolator von Renesas Electronics enthält die AlGaAs-LED auf der Eingangsseite und eine Fotodiode, einen Signalverarbeitungsschaltkreis und Leistungs-MOSFETs auf der Ausgangsseite auf einem Chip. Er wurde speziell für hohe Gleichtakt-Störfestigkeit und hohe Schaltgeschwindigkeit entwickelt. Er ist für den Antrieb von IGBTs geeignet.
