FRN50S Series identified by gold band
Fusible, Axial
The FRN series of fusible resistors will function as normal resistors under specified operating conditions. Under overload conditions, they will act as a fuse and blow open circuit. The special coating ensures that they are flameproof during operation. They are therefore Ideal for use in safety critical and circuit protection applications where non-flammable fusing is required.
Note
This range of fusible resistors will fuse in less than 60 seconds at 16 times rated load.
