Der Nordic Semiconductor nRF5340 ist ein drahtloser Bluetooth-5.2-System-on-Chip mit zwei Arm CortexM33-Prozessoren, der Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth-Mesh, Thread und ZigBee-Wireless-Protokolle unterstützt. Das SoC unterstützt eine Vielzahl von drahtlosen Protokollen. Es unterstützt auch proprietäre Protokolle wie NFC, ANT, 802.15.4 und 2,4 GHz. Durch die Kopplung des Hochleistungsprozessors mit dem großzügigen 512 KB RAM ist der SoC für die nächste Generation Advanced Wearables und Smart Watches bereit. Er ist erschwinglich und bietet alles, was für die Entwicklung auf einer einzigen Platine benötigt wird.
